I prefer to learn about Islam from muslim sources rather than from some orientalist department in a university.

I prefer to learn about Islam from as many sources as possible so that the bias's prevalent in any religion do not have the upper hand.

I do the same for the christian religion as well. It would be ludicrous to only study from Christian sources about Christianity since they too have an axe to grind and believe thier way is the truth.


Sultan, I think the truth will come out either way if you put your time in.
