That is one section that is I believe pointless and isnt getting anywhere and no one will gain or is gaining any benefit from it.

I think it should be removed (!)

But it keeps the Shi'ah occupied patting each other on the back. It Also lets Mauwiyya let of steam somewhere we don't have to see it. A good safety valve.
