2. A Classical Islamic Text:'Ibn Ata`Illah Al- Sikandari's The Book of Wisdoms (al-Hikam al-'Ata'iyya)'.
Feeling spiritually down ? Need some words of wisdom? Traditional learning involves covering 'The Classics '.
First time in the UK, The Aphorisms [al-Hikam] of Ibn Ata'illah.
A master piece that will raise your level of spirituality like never before.
Duration: 6 weeks every Wednesday between 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Starting 3rd - 17th December 2003 & continues from 7th - 21st January 2004.

Shaykh Haytham Tamim has studied Shariah for over 16 years and has accreditation (ijaaza's) in recitation, interpretation and Sciences of the Qur'an, Hadith and Fiqh from the scholars of Sham, Medina and Indian subcontinent. Aswell as verifying (tahqiq) over 20 books, his specialities include comparative Fiqh, Usool and Hadith. This vast knowledge is harnessed with extensive teaching experience, he has taught students for over 12 years innumerous countries. He has served as a lecturer of Comparative Fiqh for manyyears at the Islamic University of Beirut and also as a lecturer of Hadithand Seerah at the Azhar Lubnan Academy, Lebanon. Some of his teachers include: Shaykh Professor Wahbah az-Zuhayli (Syria); Shaykh Professor Saeed Ramadan al-Bouti (Syria); Mullah Abdul Aleem az-Zanki (Syria); Shaykh Abdul Fattah abu Ghuddah (Riyad); Shaykh Professor Mustaf a al-Azzami (Riyad/India) & many others.
