During the time before the birth of islam, did the people of arabia not have the teachings of Isa or Musa, or not even know about them?
Just wondering

They did. There was a large population of Christians in Syria; and there were several Jewish tribes in the Madinah area.

Yes, but many of these Christian and Jewish groups were heretical sects with corrupted scriptures.
The Quran even states that Jews believe Uzair was the son of God, and that the Trinity was Isa, Mary, and Allah.
This shows me that the Quranic views on Christians and Jews may have been influenced by heretical sects.

Please do me a favour and point where the Qur'an specifically states that the Christian trinity is composed of the Virgin Mary, Father, and Son.

"5.116": And when Allah will say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.

That verse does not speak of the Trinity. In that verse God questions Jesus that whether he said to take him as well his mothers as "gods" beside the One true God[ Allah ]. Nowhere does it state that trinity of christians is composed of God, Jesus and Mary.
And yes some christians do worship Mary, take the catholics for example.

The Jews of Madina and Yemen did infact believe that Ezra was the son of God. This fact has been affirmed in the Jewish sources,

It still shows that the Quran's view on Jews and Christians may have been influenced by heretical sects.
And by the way, I'm a Catholic.
I never worship Mary and no one I know worships Mary.

you may not see it as worship. but then what do u call it when you say your "hail mary's" ??? we call this shirk. you are invoking others besides God. you see it as justified, but your LORD does not.

When we pray the Hail Mary we are asking Mary to pray for us.
It's not praying to Mary.

It's not praying to Mary.
It's the same thing - both are transcendental attempts to interface with Mary. Some call it seeking solace in the idea, as I heard someone put it back in my early days as a Protestant.

They are not the same thing.
Praying and asking are two different things.

call it what you want, its all the same.
how can you ask mary, who has no power? she can not hear you, nor can she help you, and where exactly does this come from? Jesus did not do this, yet you say you follow him. one contradiction after another, keep them coming. and why exactly would you want mary to pray for you, you say you are already saved, you are already going to paradise, so what do you want mary to do for you? mary is dead, so could you "ask" your dead grandmother to pray for you as well? btw, don't answer one of my questions if you can't anser them all. you are good at beating around the bush, avoiding what you yourself know has no argument, because there is no argument when it comes to truth and falsehood.

Peace Jaserah,
how can you ask mary, who has no power? she can not hear you, nor can she help you
How do you know this? Have you been to heaven before?
Why do people ask other people to pray for them?
Same reason why we ask Mary and the Saints to pray for us.

still avoiding my questions i see. answering questions with questions because you have no answers. how do i know? because God is the ONLY source of power, HE has no partners. NO ONE IS Divine, except HIM. not Mary, not Jesus, not any "saint". that is how i know :D. now for your answers.......

I just answered your questions.
We occasionally ask Mary and the Saints to pray for us because they watch us from Heaven and they can guide us and help us.
We have guardian angels that watch us, but why do we need them if God is protecting us? It never hurts having angels and saints that help us on our journey in life.

The saints can guide you and help you? you know that is the problem with Christians, especially Catholics, you believe what you want. your claim has no foundation in the bible, you are more like a political group created for money making purposes. you claim what you want, do what you want, believe what you want, defraud whom you want. you have no basis for your beliefs, you say the bible, but it certainly does not say the saints will guide you and help you. how misled are you.

"how misled are you."
I say the same for you.
You have no basis for you faith, at least not from the Bible.
The Catholic Church as Tradition.
They don't oppose Jesus's teachings--well, exept for that celibacy law.
I'm sure Islam as Tradition, right?
Does the Quran tell you that Abraham and Ishmael took a trip to Mecca and built the pagan Kaabah?
Or is that one of your Traditions?
