the word " RESEARCH" means = methodical investigation into a subject in order to discover facts, to establish or revise a theory, or to develop a plan of action based on the facts discovered. "to carry out research into a subject".

For instance alittle paragraph where the word research is in it.

1 ) You can research a book, You can research a persons history. Like if you wanna know who Nelson Mandela was, than do alittle research in his autobiography.
