I wonder why several good writers were banned here!
e.g Amused, AMC, nighthawk?

Really this disturbing me!
I wish the admin who did that to realise that the goal of discusions here is to share our ideas and to have difference opinions. In fact I am disappointed from this stratigy!
No excuse to ban users or to delete their answers just because they said their opinion!!!
I ask kindly the admin who duid that to avoid baning users just because they have different ideas, we here to laern from different cultures and opnions.

ok
Amused II and Nighthawk 2 are allowed to post...

Nighthawk check ur PM message..
AMC ill get in touch with the admins and himself shortly.

As i said before..usually admins take action which the feel is appropriate..sometimes im not around when they do something and vice versa..however all the complaints come to me..

my best advice is that if u want to know the reason..then u are better off PM the admins or emailing them or something..in that way u can resolve it directly with them and not having to come through me..cos its gonna take a lot longer. Because really i cant answer for them cos im not them..so u are better corresponding to them directly then coming to me im sure u can try and get to a conclusion.

If i ban i will tell the user that i will ban them i will usually pm them or send them an email..but usually i will pmessage them and email them...but other admins may do it differntly then thats their strategy..

we are allowing opinions in here as long as they are sensible and not flawed or anything

as people take opinions to be sensitve as i mentioned in my previous post..there may be an instance whereby u think u are saying something which seems normal to u (fair enough) however it may be sensitive to someone else..if of course u have any DOUBTS in posting..ive offered that u can PM me..i will usually reply Instantly on the Weekdays...or u can email me to..then ill give u the ok if it seems sensible to post...its best to check if ur in doubt...so please do take advantage of this

we are also not Discriminating or anything..nor are we discouraging non muslims not to come herw..infact im quite happy about that as long as everyone stays sensible..

and as for the Flamers..ive said it again and gonna re iterate it..Just forget them!! use the ignore button and just dont bother replying...its not use..and u know that too...

without stirring things up...it will be better..dont retalitate..
im spending more time wading thru the posts and deleting the flaming ones..now that ive got more time on my hand..i shall be doing that quite often...and checking each post to make sure that things are relevant and on topic...

as i said..its best to correspond witht he individual admins themselves

there are 5 of us currently

myself,baba, sheik,Al raad, and ippo..

u are more likely 2 get a better respond from them individually rather then coming to me...

if of course it involves me then i will get back to u..however if not..then just correspond with the admin invloved i belive is the best way

thanks
regards

Really, stop your whining please.

You can have a differenc of opinion, but the way you put it across will determine our reaction as admins.

You may not agree with the Khilafah, but if you say something like, "The Khilafah is a racist and tyrannical system of oppressing people"

You will be banned there and then.

However, if you were to say, "I don't think the Khilafah is the ideal system because democracy etc. provides a better solution because etc etc etc"

Then you won't be banned.

Simple isn't it?

I asked the same question yesterday and have yet to receive an answer. Actually, the source was antiwar.com, the same source that another member used as the source for a thread that had a different "slant" to it. In reality, I had to go back some hours after I initially posted my response and re-post, as the initial one had magically disappeared. Imagine that. Western propaganda indeed.

Oh, BTW....Sheiks story link was to a totally different event, not even the one that was under discussion.

Bilal: "the goal of discusions here is to share our ideas and to have difference opinions".

Precisely so! Some of our opinions may not be to everybody's liking, but without different opinions there would be no discussion.

And, as I experienced recently, a person who says something that you don't like, is not always a lier. One closed thread led to a few private messages.

That was my point. then closed it (why) so nobody could post that point.
