Ippo, I think I speak for a lot of Americans here when I say that some of the things I've read on this board DESERVED to be reported to the FBI. I mean, how many "we love Osama Bin Laden" posts do Americans have to put up with after 9/11?

I'd argue that the people who come on this board and lionize Al-Qaeda, threaten George Bush, and call for the extermination of Jews are the ones who should be getting banned. Looking around, though, I see they are not.

I suppose that's your business - this is a privately owned site. But I'd also suggest to you that Islam is under a microscope right now, and this is an Islamic site. People from all over the world can look at this board right now. And people will judge Muslims by what they read here.

You can make sure that people who come to this site get the RIGHT idea about Islam, or you can ensure that they will come away believing the worst about Islam.

Otherwise, you send the message that Islam tacitly supports such views, and you and I know that's just not true. When you allow such vile views to be posted by equally vile people, and ban the posters who disagree with them, you reinforce the message.

It's your choice. As a person who has argued long and hard on this forum and others to not judge Muslims harshly, or by the actions of terrorists, I think you should choose to not accept the haters on your board.

veritas, I dont care if you think the banning was unjustified, cause it wasnt. I am not here to kiss up to america or any americans. I think you might be taking this a little too personal, imho. Some of the posts on here call for the deaths of people. They advocate violence, killing, etc. Now most people on this forum are here for a good debate, but still like that takes away from it.

If somebody makes death threats, why shouldn't a person report the post to the FBI?

That is why us mods are here to mod this place. If someone makes a death threat why not report it to us so we can clean it. And you should know that the person making 99.999 percent does not know your real name and address, ofcourse if you are stupid enough to tell him your real name and addy then thats a different thing, but still people dont take it too extreme as to go and kill one another because of forums. The actions of amc are not tolerated by me and perhaps by the other mods.

I was just checking out the different forums today when I seen this one, and I have to ask you this question;
How could you turn a blinds eye to all your Muslim brothers and sisters over in Afghanistan when Osama Bin laden was in charge there? From all the video’s from news coverage I seen; People there were dancing in the streets when Osama was forced into leaving.
I even felt bad for the civilians there that were killed without reason; The USA had warned the government that they had declared war on ( terrorism,) and to warn the civilians to flee to another country, but their president wouldn’t even tell them what was going on, and not only that Osama was keeping the people there against there will so the USA wouldn’t attack him, so how can you consider osama more of a brother then those Muslims that were( Freed From Him ) by the USA. I don’t believe all Muslims are terrorists, no more than that of all Americans are killers. You do have a right to think what you will about Osama; But so do the Muslims that were freed from him in Afghanistan, Its just I can’t understand your train of thought. Gloria……

Hey, if you feel wronged by the site, then take your grievances to them in the manner which you see fit.

I have my method and I am sure you have yours. You go to the FBI (this site is outside FBI jurisdiction BTW) and I prefer to hit them where it really hurts, their wallet.
