Student vainly and desperately trying to get my design of a fluidised bed reactor finished to hand in friday, that means i have to make up a few numbers along the way lol, also i have to finish the plany start up and commissioning section, apart from that i am a muslim with a pakistani background trying to survive the ills of the kuffar, and trying to educate all my brailvis friends that as much as they love the prophet peace be upon they should learn and read more Islamic history !

White English revert to Islam. My dad reverted 7 years ago, then passed away after 7 months, on Friday in Ramazaan, Subhanullah. I'm married to my beautiful and kind Pakistani husband, who is a Hafiz of the Quraan Sharif. Allah hu Akber. I have three children. My eldest, Sayfullah, went to sit under the tree in barzak with Hazarat Ibrahim (as), last September. I teach English and art, voluntarily, at a struggling Muslim school in the UK.
I love Allah for all he has given me: My family, my home and all that is in it. For our beloved Prophet(saw). My brothers and sisters in Islam. All the non Muslims that treat me kindly, by the will of Allah.
Ina lillahi wa ina ilayhi. Rajaioon.
To Him we belong and to Him is our return.

Well, the Profile gives the basic facts for most of us. Unfortunately, the information is often scant.
In addition to what can already be read in my Profile, I might add that I am happily married and have two sons. My younger son had a daughter on the last day of last year, so I'm a grandfather, too.

Rukaya, I'm sorry but I don't understand what this means: "I have three children. My eldest, Sayfullah, went to sit under the tree in barzak with Hazarat Ibrahim (as), last September."
What is the meaning of sitting under a tree?

Outsider, Elhamdulilah, you are a Grand Dad. Why is it easy to assume that all in the forum are in their twenties!
Muslims believe that Prophet Abraham(pbuh), and his wife Sarah look after the infants have passed away, until the Day of Judgement, when they will intercede on their parents behalf. Barzak is where all souls remain until the Judgement Day. According to Hadith, Abraham(pbuh)and his wife teach the children under a tree. My son had serious heart defects. He had four operations, and a pacemaker. We knew that there was a chance he wouldnt live too long, but you try not to think about these things. At an appointment the day before, the doctors were very happy. Although he was very ill as a baby, he was very bright and active for the last few years of his life. The doctors had advised me to have an abortion, I chose not to. He lived nearly seven beautiful years and he had a heart attack last September, in my arms, after returning from school. Not on an operating table. Or in the presence of strangers. Subhanallah.
I have days when I cant cope with missing him. And would have thought id have gone mad. He was just like me, loving and sensitive. My best friend. But Allah Ta'ala has helped me cope so much. He gave me the most beautiful gift to look after for over six years, and is now taking care of him better than I ever could.
Ina lil la hi, wa ina lilay hi, rah jaioon.
To God we belong, and to him is our return.
I had a dream, in ramazaan, when he was a baby that I shot Abu Jahal, the one of the greatest enemies of the Prophet Muhammad (phuh). (He used to try to stand on our beloved Rasools head when he prostrated in prayer. But fire, only Abu Jahal could see, came in between.) Anyway, in my dream, I shot him. And later that night, I dreamt that a boy, that resembled Sayfullah, was riding on a horse with the Prophet Abraham(pbuh).
I had the dream interpreted, and I was told that it meant, I would go through some hardships, but if I stayed strong, there would be a happy ending.
Two days b4 he passed away, I remembered the dream, and that I hadnt practiced my religion all the time since. I cried on my prayer mat begging Allah to forgive me, because I was promised a happy ending if I was strong and I had become weak.
I pleaded with Allah to take me back to that time. And give me the chance to start afresh.
It wasnt until after Sayfullah died, I found out that Abraham looks after the infants deceased. I believe that the hardship the dream said I was to face, was loosing my son. I try to be strong, so that my happy ending will be me meeting my son in Janaat. Inshallah. Also, I have two other children who need me.
Do not feel bad, it helps me to talk(or type), and maybe it may help others too. My faith has given me strength.
Your sister in humanity, Rukaya

Rukaya, what a touching story, may Allah Help you and guide you through a time which would be exceptionally difficult. I cannot begin to understand what it would be like to be so close to someone (mother/child bond) and considering that i am a male i will never truly experience or understand this bond. Unless i get some corrective surgery that is :), but i am happy about being a Male. May you meet your child in Heaven Inshallah, be strong.
As for my Intro, student (psychology), aspiring Surgeon (Inshallah), origionally from Pakistan but now live where the Croc hunter came from.

I am sorry to hear of your loss, Rukaya. Maasha'Allah you have a lot of strength ... I pray Allah makes it easy for you to bear your burdens with patient perseverance. I also hope that my nephew who passed away aged 18 days ( almost 8 years ago now) is with your son in the care of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). May they have happy play together.

Hi I'm in the US. I'm unable to do any work due to two broken backs...OUCH
I was in a car accident five years ago and it shattered my spinal column.
Last year they went in to correct a posture problem and had to rebreak it.DOUBLE OUCH.
I can walk etc but am in pain while I do it. Can't sit because of the pain. I do thank God I lived. At the time they said if I lived I would never walk. FOOLED THEM HUH?
I do spend my time wisely tho. I have a kids group at my church and love seeing the world from their eyes..(4,5, and 6 year olds.)
Our future is in our children and am a great believer in mentoring --- I even went to Arizona and worked with the native american kids..(I'm a Shawnee and they were Pima)

Sorry to hear about your back. Triple ouch! It must have been quite a shock to the system. The recovery must have taken some patience, and it sounds like its not over yet. I hope you'll be feeling a lot better some time soon:)

Assalaamualiakum,
Jazakullah khair......everyones dua's mean alot.
Some days are tough, but I thank Allah Ta'ala for the strenght he has given me. When my son died, I thought i'd never smile again. My heart physically hurt. But, subhanullah I have smiled and laughed many times in the past few months. I've cried lots too, but it has helped to be able to cry. Allah subhana wa Ta'ala has given me so much strength. Before My sons death I thought I was weak, and hated myself. But recently I have discovered I have an inner strength, that helps me through hardships, and I now see a positive side to my character that I like. The bad days are bad, but the good days are really good, mashallah. I can never thank Allah Ta'ala enough.
