سورة القيامة Surah al Qiyamah [The Day of Resurrection]

Contains 40 ayah (chapters)

1-5...

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi

1.. لَا أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ
La oqsimu biyawmi alqiyamati
Nay! I swear by the day of resurrection

2.. وَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالنَّفْسِ اللَّوَّامَةِ
Wala oqsimu bialnnafsi allawwamati
Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true).

3.. أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَلَّننَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ
Ayahsabu al-insanu allan najmaAAa AAithamahu
Does man think that We shall not gather his bones?

4.. بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ
Bala qadireena AAala an nusawwiya bananahu
Yea! We are able to make complete his very fingertips

5.. بَلْيُرِيدُ الْإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ
Bal yureedu al-insanu liyafjura amamahu
Nay! man desires to give the lie to what is before him.

بِالنَّفْسِ

3.. أَيَحْسَبُ الْإِنسَانُ أَلَّننَجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُ


أَيَحْسَبُ
Ayahsabu [he thinks]

الْإِنسَانُ
al-insanu [the man]

أَلَّننَجْمَعَ
allan [will not]
najma'a [We gather]

عِظَامَهُ
a'aithamahu [his bones]

4.. بَلَى قَادِرِينَ عَلَى أَن نُّسَوِّيَ بَنَانَهُ


بَلَى
Bala [yes!]

قَادِرِينَ
qadireena [capable]

عَلَى أَن
a'ala an[we are]***

nusawwiya [restore/put together his]***

بَنَانَهُ
bananahu [tips of fingers]

بَلْ
Bal [but!]

يُرِيدُ
yureedu [he wants/desires]

الْإِنسَانُ
al-insanu [the man]

لِيَفْجُرَ
liyafjura [to do sin]

أَمَامَهُ
amamahu [infront of him]

Auntie the good and the benefical posts, will be rarely visited. Its a weakness we have, we enjoy idle talk and dont want to learn the beautiful words of the Quraan.

This is true akhi. Aameen to the dua and may Allah grant you these rewards also for reading them.

ayahs 6-10...

يَسْأَلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُالْقِيَامَةِ
Yas-alu ayyana yawmu alqiyamati
He asks: When is the day of resurrection?

فَإِذَا بَرِقَ الْبَصَرُ
Fa-itha bariqa albasaru
So when the sight becomes dazed,

وَخَسَفَ الْقَمَرُ
Wakhasafa alqamaru
And the moon becomes dark,

وَجُمِعَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ
WajumiAAa alshshamsu waalqamaru
And the sun and the moon are brought together,

يَقُولُ الْإِنسَانُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ الْمَفَرُّ
Yaqoolu al-insanu yawma-ithin ayna almafarru
Man shall say on that day: Whither to fly to?

Some of the words are used, and I do use. SubhanAllah the last two verses I translated some words which I recognised without the use of a dictionary...

yaum
al qamaru
shams
al insanu
ya quloo
