there was this magician/illusionist who made his living performing at parties. one day, after a performance, he went home. his home is a castle built on a rock spire. the only way to get to his castle is across the narrow suspension bridge. the bridge can support 200 pounds. the magician weighs 198 pounds (he only wears a speedo when he goes to work). the trouble is, the magician received for his services today 3 gold nuggets each weighing one pound. how can he get himself and all 3 gold nuggets into his castle without causing the bridge to break?
ps - go ahead and try innovative solutions like "throw one nugget", "don't eat for a day and lose a pound", and the like because they can be funny, but only the valid solution (the one I'm thinking of) will be rewarded with accolades.
pps - don't post your answers on this thread. post them on "the gold nuggets - answers" (malcom, I liked your idea)
