Assalamaulikum

Im doing a project where im using arabic text. I decided to use arabic images instead of actual text. I wanna do a test to see what people can see.

Fig 1.

Fig 2.
الْحَمْدُ للّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

I want u to look at both these and tell me which one u can see the arabic, 1 or 2, or both.

If u r able to do view -encoding -arabic, try to view em with out doing this. then tell me if u can see both or just one

So just state which ones you can see the arabic , tell me what operating system and browser u r using, eg windows 98, Internet Explorer 4.0

I especially would like to hear from non-windows and non-IE users, and people with old operating systems and browsers

OS is operating system? Is that like windows 98? That's what I got, and Internet Explorer is version 6.0

Yes OS is operating system like windows 98,2000,xp.etc
Browsers are the ones u view internet with , if ur not sure what version it is go to the toolbar->help->About Internet Explorer.

Thats interesting, ive got XP, an IE6.0 and i need to encode to view one of em

I can only see the 2nd one. I have a problem with my arabic text support, it wont seem to work whatever I do. But I can see the 2nd one

could you tell us how you did that 2nd one? what did you do differently than the 1st one?

in the first one i just copied the arbic text and pasted it, second one i copied the arbic text to MS frontpage, and then i view the source code used for the arbic text, i copied the source code used and pasted that in, so u wont ned to flick between diff encodeing all the time

Peace its a prog that u use to make web pages innit? I think
I cant remember where on the computer it is :banghead: but u can go to start > find > files or folders and search for it?
