Q - How do I view Arabic on the board??? I see weird characters?

A - To View Arabic:

Go to the View menu on your IE window
-->> Encoding
-->> More
-->> Arabic (Windows)


Q - How can I write Arabic??? I don't have Arabic Windows???

A - There are two possible ways for you to write Arabic:

1) Use http://www.al-islam.com/key.htm to press letter by letter, and then copy and paste...

OR

2) Install Arabic Text Support so you can type the letters on your keyboard:

Go to Start Menu >>
Settings >>
Control Panel >>
Add/Remove Programs >>
Microsoft Internet Explorer >>
Add/Remove Button >>
Select "Add New Component" >>
Under multi-langauge support select "Arabic Text Support" >>
Install it and restart >>

AFTER RESTART

Start Menu >>
Settings >>
Control Panel >>
Keyboard >>
Langauge >>
Add >>
Arabic (Saudi Arabia - 101 Ar)>>

A button will appear beside the clock where you can switch between your English input (EN) and your Arabic (AR).

You MUST have windows 98 or higher, and IE 5.5 +.

YES!!!!!At last!!!! Thanks Sajid!!!!!! I was able to get my pc to view arabic. I have to use that site al-islam for the writing though, but it's all good. At least I will be able to join in on the fun :D

i don't have IE in my control panel, add/remove software section :s
