The Last Day...
I wish I could go back and change my story,
Instead of living in so-called glory,
These are the words that shouldn’t be on our tongues,
Be it the elders or even be it the youngs,
Time will stand still as there begins a small chill,
There’s nothing more you can fulfill,
When finally the horn is blown,
In this cyclone, you’ll be all alone,
No worldly possessions, you’ll have nothing to own,
Everything’ll be known, your whole life’ll be shown,
It isn’t something you can postpone,
Shivers through bodies from top to toe,
Wondering whether they’ve made it or have they nothing to show,
Receiving the scroll in your right palm,
Suddenly you stop and everything becomes all calm,
As your deeds from the world have just become your balm.
