LIONS OF THE UMMAH

Seeing the blood on the battlefield,
Your enthusiasm for Jihad becomes your only shield,
No wounds, no cuts, everything seems to have healed,
As you see in your mind what is revealed,
The doors of Jannah are no longer sealed,
Recalling the cries and wails of the oppressed,
Motivates you to execute these animalistic chests,
Having in your heart only one quest,
Making sure Allah (SWT) will indeed be Impressed,
Through our courage and determination against the ones He(SWT) detests,
The Lions of this Ummah will ever prevail,
Diminishing the enemy without any fail,
Making yourself to Allah’s(SWT) avail,
This being the life boat in order to sail,
Yearning for martyrdom,
Being the goal of every believer,
Seeing the opposition becoming weaker and weaker,
Prospering to victory and aiming to be the highest achiever.

As far as I know, she wasn't arrested because of her poems, she was arrested for "possessing documents that may be of assistance to terrorists"...or words to that effect. Nonsense, basically.

She just became somewhat famous in the gutter press because of the poems which, I would presume, were used by the prosecution to help them make a case....just shows how desperate they were for a conviction, in my opinion. :rolleyes:

Anyhow, I believe a certain member may or may not know more about this. Perhaps she will see this and shed some light on the matter...if she wants to, of course. :up:

i advise you not get paranoid for the one who was a member of this forum, and got arrested, it was not for their poetry but for books which were in their possession.

Poetry as yours sister will attract eyes and attention which inshaAllaah you and your family is of no need, as a brother i do advise you not post them online, however may Allaah reward you for that poem, mashaAllaah it was nice.

Jazakmullah khairun for ur concern and im glad u liked the poem, i jus want to say in response to ur comments that my poems are a way of expressing my feelings on paper, i dont believe such a poem will get me "arrested" I mean i have read poems about brutal and gruesome things from british poets, i dont see the police arresting them for promoting criminal behaviour. With regards to the "lyrical terrorist" none of us can know what happend with her so we shouldn't expose the issue about the sister to everyone, Allahu'Alim. My poems do not "promote" anything or "associate" themselves with anything, they are purely my feelings. If u see my previous poems that i have posted, they are on different topics such as justice, pain, praising Allah(SWT) etc, this is the first poem i have posted about jihad, and whats wrong with it, im not offending the name of any community or race, ANY army general will tell its soldiers to diminsh and fight the enemy so just because the poem has the word jihad in it, it makes such a big difference, i dont think we should be afraid of things when we're not doing anything wrong. But again jazamullah khairun for your concerns, it means alot that my bros/sis out there are thinking about mine and my family's well being.
