ASALAAMALAYKUM
THE MUSLIM WOMAN
The Muslim woman, patient and pure
Heart of steel, her smile a cure
Inferior; no
Superior; yes
According to how she passes Allah’s test.
Her integrity, her pride
Her iman will never subside
She keeps away from all sins
Not because she is oppressed
But because she is wise
Her beauty
Her eyes
What a surprise
They thought she covers herself because she is a sore sight
But under the veil
Lies an untainted light,
Her beauty she covers
While violated are others
She keeps pure and respects her self
Not like those who think that the veil is a burden
And take it off so sudden
As soon as she is out the door
Islam, she knows no more
Walking wearing clothes that are thinner than thread
And that’s when you realize she’s thicker than bread
She is controlled by what she sees happening
Her years are wasted; and this is saddening
For Satan years before did he start planning
