Following on from previous successful programmes, the fifth West London Islamic Centre summer school has again been organised to help young people develop their physical, mental, spiritual and moral capacity in an Islamic environment.
The short five week course has been designed for both children and teenagers to include an introduction and revision of basic Islamic areas of study, such as, Quranic tajweed and memorisation of short surahs, study of Imam Nawai’s Forty Hadith, general Islamic Studies, pillars of Islam, Wudu etc , Seerah or biography of the Prophet (pbuh) and sports/recreational activities.
Students will be assessed at the end of the course and awarded at the prize giving ceremony, they will also be taken on an end of Summer school outdoor trip.
The course is open to boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 18, the fee is £60.
