Calling into ummahradio

alhumdulilah managed to finally get the calling into radio system sorted out

this is how it works basically

Paltalk

The room is called "Ummah Radio" You need a paltalk account and join the room


Skype

you can add abumubarak or whoever is on via Skype


now how it works

if you want to CONTRIBUTE to the show or speak you need to either talk via Paltalk or SKYPe

if you want to listen only then do so via www.ummahradio.com/index.php



Basically the transmissions to ummahradio is coming through my PC so anything i hear gets broadcasted live across the airways

Which means if Abumubarak wants to talk someone on Skype then he needs to add me on as a conference call which will inturn broadcast to the radio

if he wants to talk to someone via paltalk then ill need to be in paltalk so i can transmit the sound!

we got caught in a quagmire because we wouldnt allow sisters and there were some technical glitches

Yeh sisters voices to some members of ummah.com are like water to the wicked witch of the west.

I don't get the technical difficulties, didn't we suss that out years ago with Noor Radio after fiddling with settings, it's to do with having your wave or line vol ticked and max'd isn't it? :scratch: ..so anything you hear on your computer also gets broadcasted as it is. You probably just have to experiment with that a bit (and write down what you did to get it to work!)

Don't ask for randomers, be a bit more selective and choose a variety of people (preferably brother who contibute more prominantly to the forum, so listeners know who it is etc).
