Until quite recently i've been on PAYG. I topped up £10.00 in March and i didn't use it all up until just before i went on holiday - 19th July. I'm currently on contract, not sure why because i don't really need the minutes.

I have a £ contract - £30 per month which is 750 free minutes chat time and 175 texts..............which sometimes isnt enough for me, especially the texts!! But Im tied to it so I cant change although I have taken the option of 50 additional texts for £5.
But I have always thought the best deals were with 3.
I aint a Sales Man for them or anything, Im just commenting innit

You guys text a lot. I can't believe when was the last time I texted. BTW, there are websites that offer free sms on the web and I guess you can get more than 10 smses per day in total. I personally use those.

Umm...I thought the general rule with all contracts was that if you wanted to cancel early you had to pay for the rest of the months anyway?

Ur sis in Islam:
No it shouldn't cost you sis unless you cancel it before your contract finishes? coz that would mean the phone is still not urs as you owe them money for the time you contracted with them  does that make sense?? Cancel as soon as its time for an upgrade or your contract finishing date comes  :insha:

Don't feel bad about it, they always make you a spankin' good deal, but a few months later all of the phone companies seem to offer better ones. You can't win :S Your better off going on pay as you go and reverse charging everyone else @) (not me :nono:)

does he work in stoke or head office newbury or banbury?
trust me bro Voda are a no go.
orange offer unlimited texts which i make sure i make the most of,i may consider switching to t-mobile but depends what sorta upgrade offer i get from orange but voda naa bro get out of there.
when i were working for them i had 2 staff contracts at my disposal which meant ur calling rates are reduced and you dont have to pay any line rental at all,but even with this my bills were huge and this is with stop the clock.
p.s i wouldnt mind switching to 3 but their reception is really poor.
T-mobile reception isnt fantastic in some places and their customer services are rubbish (hee hee ive gven them a piece of my mind a fair few times)!!! But i always manage to get the best deal out of them

30 pounds is nothing comparing to orange when they ripped me off. that was back in 2003 i had this contract. i bought nokia 3100 on a low tarrif and the bill would come to like 80 odd pounds. that gave me bad experience with contracts but this t mobile is good. when they say its 30 pounds. it actually is 30 pounds they dont charge a penny over.

02 Pay as you go i prefer contract but this is better cuz no big bills and no heart attacks.
I used to have a Voda contract.. 1000 evening and weekend mins for £17.50 a month.. Used my phone so much I ended up getting 3 of the same contracts to stop me getting huge bills!
But that was before I moved in with my husband, lol.. Now I have a PAYG and I barely spend £5 a month as all my family are on my friends and family package, so I get to talk to them for free :D
