subhanAllah we've had so many responses, all from sisters [not just ummah but email too], may Allah reward them all and aid them in their thirst for knowledge. And for them its much more complicated due to mahram issue.
Where are the brothers at, lazy bums >_<

The Itenerary for Trip One
Narrated Ibn Abbas: Thy Prophet sent Muadh to yemen and said, "Invite the people to testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and I am Allah's Apostle, and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has enjoined on them five prayers in every day and night (in twenty-four hours), and if they obey you to do so, then teach them that Allah has made it obligatory for them to pay the Zakat from their property and it is to be taken from the wealthy among them and given to the poor." [saheeeh Bukharee]
Included in the tour:
• All the entrance fees according to the above programs, including Museums, Castles, etc.
• Tour is accompanied with, English Speaking Guide, who will escort the group throughout the tour.
• Drinking mineral water during the tour
Day One:
Sana’a Sightseeing
You arrive in the medieval city of Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the cradle of Arab nations. We will have a full day exploring Sana'a, including a visit to the National Museum and a fascinating wander around the winding, narrow streets of Old Sana'a, where you will see intricately decorated mosques and ancient multi-storey houses. Also a visit to the Old Mosque in Sana’a that was built by Mu’ad ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him)
[and this is all on top of learning arabic]

They spelt beginners incorrectly.
Anyways I'd encourage more sisters to go.
Seriously, in terms of enhancing your knowledge, you'll gain so much more by studying there than you ever will by sitting here at Ummah.com all the time.
Go with the right intention and then let Allah swt judge you. Personally if you're going there to improve your Arabic in order to understand the Qur'an more, I can't see why this would incur Allah swt's wrath. Simply makes no sense. Remember He is THE MOST merciful.
I currently have a friend there, 2 sisters who have studied there and have heard so much good about the country and the people. Gorgeous terrain too mashaAllah.
Oh, and Osama was a Yemeni, no? ;)

Alhamdulilah theres a few bros coming, still 14 days to register..
The Messenger of Allah salAllahu alayhi wa salam said: whoever treads the path of knowledge then Allah will make easy for him the path to jannah. Ibn Taymiyyah RH said that to learn arabic is wajib upon every Muslim.

Is there any pre-knowledge of the arabic language required?
I know of a few arabic courses that say there for beginners but they expect you to know how to know the basics of reading and writing arabic.
