Salaams. I'm currently debated whether or not I (wolfn) should change my username. From this account, this is my other username.

However, I've gotten some negative comments for changing the username. Therefore, I'm wondering if I should go back to the old username, or keep this new one.

What do you think?

Akhi the choice is completely yours.. I won't vote.. however I will say your original reason for changing is to keep your identity private, yet you have told everyone who you are anyway. Personally I feel that now a name change will not have the required effect of keeping you identity private anyway.

Perhaps that makes it easier to make a decision?

lol wolfn, follow sis carol_au's advice...if you want to change it for privacy reasons, just stay shush and change it, otherwise it becomes useless

I like wolfn. But, ur name should be ur choice.
If you want to change it for security-privacy reasons, and then if you make 3 threads about it, it does not serve the purpose at all.

What ukhtee Carol_au stated above was my first thought before opening this thread. I, too, will not vote Akhi.

Insha'Allah, if you do decide a name change for other forums, I suggest not making one very similar to the one you are currently using, ie: drop the "wolf" in the future.

Ahmad the Wolf sounds like a Moorish pirate...

Up to you whether that's good or bad I guess. :D

Lol. Akhi u can't please all the people all the time, if people object to your username- tell them to get lost and mind their own business. There will always be moaners around who get offended by everything, don't bother trying to please them.

well if you are worried about being confused with a girl, the usertitle "Muslim ninja" won't help cause ninja is what some islamophobes call sisters who wear all black including niqaab... and lots of sisters have reclaimed it by saying "YAY I am a ninja!"

What is the point of this thread? After all what's in a name? (username should I say :p)

If people were confusing you for a girl then just write that your a guy in your custom user title.
