Each indivisual is different ,by talking to someone you get a vague idea of what there personality is like .If you're not comfy speaking face to face chat over the phone.Ask them whatever is on your mind,they goals in life,what do they do for fun,how serious they are about marriage etc etc and you can ask around about them from aquaintances or friends .
I guess when that person is the right one you'll just know.They have to be a bit of chemistry there from what i've been told ,dunno .
