Abd + name

Is this needed for all of Allahs (swt) names if you wish to call your child that? Or are there some which you don't, e.g Kareem. I know some people called Kareem you see and i just want to know.

it is required and encouraged.

Some people call others without the 'abd' just for short...

Kareem is alright as long as it isn't Al-Kareem, or Hamid, there are names which you can call without abd, another eg. would be Maalik, etc etc just can't have Al at the begining cuz then that means, "the" maalik and that is Allah SWT
