Yeah there is that restaurant. We had our breakfast and lunch on saturday in that restaurant I guess.

Funny thing is, the hotel people ripped me off charging 880 THB ($26).

It was all company's arrangement, so I used 2 small water bottles, 1 small orange juice and 2 tiny boxes of pringles along with small pack of m&m and sun cream lotion.

During check out they asked me if i used "mini bar"? I go like..., are you refering to the refrigerator in the room? They go, "yeh'. I was like ya i used it. So they bill like ok 2 days use of mini bar = 880 Baht!

day 1: 80 THB
day 2: 800 THB

But I wonder how they came to these figures cuz I used more stuff on day one than on day2 lol.

Mini bars are always a ripoff. Better to buy some cold drinks, use the free hotel ice and put it all in the sink to use as a cooler.

Room service in most hotels is outrageous too.

Once in Phoenix, they charged us $6.50 for a toasted English muffin.

I thought it would be rip off. However, since its all company arrangement so even if they charge they will put in the company bill cuz for 3 days there was all this amazing food and they said no one needs to pay anythin as company had made all arrangements but no one said anything bout charges for stuff used in room.

I inquired about using internet on my laptop. They said charge per day is 650 THB and they dont offer it for one or 2 hours but rather per hour.

They said if I want I can use the net cafe located in hotel lobby area and over there its 6THB/min and minimum 10mins usage. So they just want to make $2 from ppls wallet for using net for 10mins. Or $12 per hr in that net cafe.

I was like.... allow that!
