Deuce is when theyre both equal at 40, they then play the next point and whoever wins that, gets the advantage and if they win the point after that they win the game. If they lose the point after the advantage, it goes back to deuce.


Could type all the rest about the sets and tie breaks etc but its gonna take ages lol, the following will give u a good outline to the rules

Duece is when score is 40 - 40.
There after, the player will have to get 2 points in a row to win the game. For example, if while at deuce, a player gets a point, the score changes to “advantage so-and-so”. If they win the next point, they win that game. If they lose that next point, the game goes back to deuce.

To win a set, player has to get at least 6 games also has to win by at least 2 games. For example 6-4.

I think ur confusing that with the double faults if one player serves twice but both are faults, the other player automatically wins the point but its known as a double fault.

IF one person serves, and the opponent mises the serve but its a perfectly good serve its know as an ace.

Nor do i, apart from cricket and badminton if it ever comes on. But i sometimes watch just to pick up a couple of skills and then try it out, learn some playing strategies etc so i can employ them against my mates.

Yeah, but that was the French Open, Federer is usually in his element in Wimbledon tournaments. Federer deserves to keep his title, he's just too much of a superb player to lose it, even to Nadal.

It's okay, i don't watch tennis but its similar to badminton, i'll explain to you even more, to win a set, it's normally the first one to reach 6 games, so at the moment, if nadal wins the next game, he wins the first set, but if they score 6-6 games each, then the first person to win two games clear of the other would win the set.:up:

In the 18/19 years ive been watching tennis at wimbledon (tv), it was certainly a great match in terms of high quality tennis, grit, determination, fight-backs, , but not the best in terms of drama, emotional tension and long breath-taking rallies.

Those 2 players make the game look too easy, which it is not, just shows how good they are.
