i hate blackburn. i could give you a whole list why but thats my opinion. at the same time the muslim community is very good - but not so good. again personal opinions.

I dont think blackburn is all that bad... i studied not too far from there and have many friends who are from blackburn, darwen areas... they have an amazing cake shop there too, cant remember what its called though... lol

I've heard that there's loads of madrassah's, people go from all over the country for jama'at, I remember it for the Jack Straw incident..but what else? ..why isn't it not so good sis? :o

Street racing, fighting, drugs, drinking, yup, you get it all in Blackburn...

blackburns top! u got gujis/pakistanis and goray... most of them get on and just go about there business.

u also got lots of asian shops/food places and clothes shops for the females.

and last but not least lots of mosques, plenty of decent schools, girls/boys islamic schools, library, park, oh yeh best of all Very VERY steep hills.

if you can drive in blackburn you can drive anywhere!! :D
