What do you need to to for the marriage to be accepted Islamically...
How many witnesses, what do you have to recite and do you need wudu while doing this?
(I only got married last year and already forgot, I remember reading some kalimay, the imam saying the girls name and if I was wanting to marry her, if I was sane. I had done wudu (although my mom told me to do it prior to the niqah) I remember about over 10 - 15 witnesses being there... My dad, the girls dad, and signing a bunch of papers -standing up and giving Salaam. Having a bite of some sweet, which my wife had already had taken a bite out of - putting 50 rupees in a tray) being forced to drink loads of mango juice -with SALAT in it, yeah the girls family did a prank with that.... Don't know if that was part of the niqqah... I doubt it though...
