The man, a Muslim from the Meadowhall district of
Sheffield who has not been named, claimed the company
deliberately sent a man disguised as a woman.
The school's comment was 'We are not racist. We are not
sexist-If anyone was being so it was that man.'

if it's an all-female driving school why the hell has this tranny joined it? why not join a normal driving school that has male and female instructors and to whose customers it will obviously not matter whether they are being taught by a man or a woman.

but an all-female driving school is targetting a certain customer base, people who want FEMALE instructors specifically because either they wouldn't be comfortable learning from a man or for other perhaos cultural or religious reasons they may want a same-sex instructor

to then claim the man was being abusive and threatening is RUBBISH

he asked for something and did not get it, instead they tried to pass off a transexual as a woman.. and he has said he will sue.. that is a far cry from "abuse and threats".. they are sensationalising it to give the impression he's been abusive and threatened to cause the transexual harm.

unfortunatly a post operation or someone considering a Gender operation has to be recognised in their new sex under sex discrimination law regardles of what we think morally under the law he/she is recognised as a woman, for the school to turn him/her down would be direct sex discrimination therfore they were within their means employing him/her and sending him/her on the job

If the hubby had an objection he just needed to make a request for another instructer without a big fuss. Living in this country regardless of your beliefs you have to accept working and encountering gay/lesbian/bi and trans people

yes but that is OUR belief, however our beliefs and morals are not what makes the law and under the law he is recognised as Post operative female hence he is recognised as a woman whether we like it or not.

You have to remember sometimes you cant assert opinion over something like this when legally ts correct, if it was saudi or somewhere fair enough becuase thats the law of that land and this is the law here,

It's really sad just how ambiguous gender can be! I can't claim to be a long-time expert or anything, but I've watched several documentaries and read up on it and sometimes, it's not really as clear cut as we think!

Well, this obviously doesn't apply in every case, but there are cases where even gentically it's ambiguous! Some people have messed up chromosomes - where they do have an XXY instead of simple XX (female) or XY (male). They can often be 'male' because of the Y, but genetically can't be said to be fully male or fully female.

Some people are born with both sets of reproductive organs, and usually neither are fully developed (and often doctors take it upon themselves to assert a single gender over another)

So without knowing the exact circumstances behind this person's choice to undergo gender change, we really shouldn't start criticising. It could be 'he' was born with an extra Y chromosome, or that the doctors arbitrarily assigned 'him' a male gender upon birth that was not in keeping with the realities of 'his' body.



As for the actual incident, I don't see why the man could not simply have said that they didn't feel comfortable with that instructor and requested a new one.

We're not talking about people being born with abnormal sexual organs and so on. We are talking about people being 100% man or woman and deciding God made a mistake in His Divine body factory and they given them the wrong model. :rolleyes:

The modern paradigms of gender and sexuality are designed to allow for such perversions as accepting same-sex relationships as normal and equal to male-female marital relationships and accepting as normal and valid for a person with no phsyiological/medical reason to have their sexual organs altered to decide to [attempt to] switch sex and live as the opposite gender.

This is all truly a battle against what is true and right, and the rest of us are being forced to comply because these ideas are being LEGALISED and it effectively being made unlawful to disagree with them!

in the UK, one can legally change their gender. this person is now a woman, and is treated as such because of that.

if the man's wife did not like having a transgendered instructor, they should have just requested someone else.

we must understand that the UK is non muslim. the laws here and their opinions are many times different then ours. but we must accept this fact and not go all crazy when a law is implemented that we disagree with. if we want our laws implemented, then we need to move to a muslim country. but suing and causing a huge racket is absolutely ridiculous.
