As salaamu-alaikum
Just wanted to know how do you deal with split ends in the beard...
Like some bro's I know pull the hairs out..
while others pull them apart till the root...
and then those married bro's whose wives deal with them somehow.;)
Someone mentioned using hair oil to me once.
Any comments/ideas?

You can try olive oil... Perhaps shampoo and conditioner?

I don't even know what split ends are. About all I do is shampoo my beard. I don't really care too much how it looks, its just that I have one.
My beard is kinda patchy in one spot anyway. It is rather short and I just started growing it about 2 months ago. InshaAllah, in about 5-6 months it will be long enough that the patches will fill in or be covered over.

Its well when the hair splits at the ends.
InshaAllah Ameen, yeah the patches should fill out, I'm still waiting for a patch of mine to lengthen...though it has been like 2 years now:(

With oil I'm worried about everything else getting oily.

I just kind of find split ends annoying, don't know if anyone else shares that sentiment.

:start:
just trim your beard every now and again
I use blackseed oil and a comb. It helps some I guess.
My wife just gave her input while I was typing
"Extra virgin olive oil and blackseed oil won't fix splitends, but it will help to prevent them. The only way to fix split ends is to cut or pluck them. A big cause of split ends is combing from the top of your beard to the bottom... You should comb starting at the bottom and little by little work your way up. Never pull on tangles either. I recommend that they try to use shampoo with 'sodiumlaureth sulfate' in it... not 'ammonium laurel sulfate'. Also you may want to try using a clarifying shampoo once or twice a week to strip out all of the pollution from your beard. If you go swimming put a little bit of conditioner in your beard before swimming and wash it directly afterward.
My wife knows a lot about hair :inlove:

not experienced in the Bearded splitends department but im sure it aint much diff to head-hair/chest-hair split ends etc...
Extra Virgin Olive Oil i guess, comb through, use GHDs, a Matt Texturising paste and just give it some definition :p
Chest hear split ends... I thought I was bear hairy on the chest but apparently you have me beat.

 Man bro, you must have one long beard to be able to lift it high enough to be able to see your split ends! ;) :D
When you get split ends, the only remedy is to trim/cut them off.

Like I've looked at it REALLLLLY CLOSE and that one Strand of HAIR IS LITERALLY SPLIT INTO TWO!! I mean a Hair is sooooo thin to begin with! Subhan'Allah! The sirat is suppose to be the width of a HAIR right? There is things thinner than it!
