What is interesting to note is that according to the Hijir calendar, I'm almost two years older than I am according to the Gregorian calendar. According to the converter on the page, I was born the 5th of Shawwal, 1407. Today's date is 14th of Jumada I, 1429. So I guess this is something for Muslims to keep in mind when people ask them their age.

yea, it's not very accurate because the calendar shifts around a bit...particularly for Dhul Hijjah and Ramadan - so it depends which date your parents recorded, whether it was by the published calendar or the one used to start/end Ramadan/Dhul Hijjah.

On the sites calendar, was that the first "Rabi?" There was two of them listed Rabi I and Rabi II. Mine was in the second one, Rabi II.

Yeah, all I know is my birth certificate says the 14th of Dhul Hijjah, which means it was according to when Saudi started the Dhul Hijjah and as such the Hajj season.
