Car Rammed
19-05-08, 06:01 PM
Mum was driving, wife was in car, with 2 babies
None of them work at present.
I wasnt there, was at work.
Car was hit very hard from behind, significant dent in car, will need repair.
Can we make a personal injury claim and how much money can we be compensated???
Realistically.
Thanks

i think you'll have to talk to your insurance company eh.. i dont know if a personal injury claim is the right thing to do if no one got hurt, you know?
talk to the insurance people and have them contact the owner of the car that hit yours inshallah.
i hope your family is okay :)

Points/proof that count towards your claim:
- If you went to hospital or ambulance came to check you all out
- Injuries sustained including anything minor and also whiplash
- report it to your doctor also
- go to a Injury Claims service. There are few muslim ones in London. ( I suggest you dont go for a non-muslim one as they may rip you off with deductions from your winning-claim.
Dont be over-zealous or greedy with the claim. Your claim should be reasonable and not cause hardship to the one who caused the accident. Often solicitors make a big thing out of something quite small.

One of them went to the doctor, shes written a letter - major whiplash injury, all examined.
Phoned accident helpline.
Also arent muslims just as greedy as non-muslims.?? I dont know any muslim claims specialist.
And do these soclitors disclose their fees - dont they claim from the fees from the one who caused the accident.???
Also it was my car, but the person driving my car had comprehensive insurance, i.e. any car.

There are some in London who advertise on Islam Channel. I think the non-muslim ones advertise on Zee TV.
Just try anyone if you are not bothered about them being muslim or not.
Yes their fees would come out of the claim. Make sure you do all your homework and ask as many questions before deciding on who you want to help you with this claim. Go to a few of them and then decide on which one.

Hey is that the one with the Indian actor?
yeh SRK.
Just watch Star Plus during the day and you'll see about a dozen ads for companies who deal with this sort of thing.
Agar aapka accident hua hai to aap compensation ke haqdaar hein:p
