:salams,

I went to the Grasmere Lake District with coll yesterday, was wicked masha'Allah and absolutely beautiful :inlove:

We went to learn more about the life of the poet, of the poem that we're studying for exams in June mostly to Dove Cottage , a place where the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge the friend of William Wordsworth was a frequent visitor of when composing the poem. The Website: http://www.wordsworthlakes.co.uk/

anyway :p , I took some pictures of a walk we went on subhan'Allah was cool, pictures don't do justice to the place though lol , just thought I'd share.. :D

Hmm

Interesting Facts no#1:

lol did you know that its best to leave a leech on you until its finished sucking your blood , as force can end up leaving their jaws in you, so ur better off leaving it on you until its 'done' :S also, they have an anesthetic (sp?) type of saliva, so you won't feel the blood being sucked. Leeches are still used today for treatment purposes.. we even saw a dead leech preserved in a bottle with some liquid typa thing..:S Allah created amazing creatures..subhan'Allah..

Interesting Fact no#2:

you should never pet/stroke sheep/lamp, if the mother of the lamb smells an unfamiliar on her child lamb, she will disown it
