To be perfectly honest I dont think it will catch on much even among people with no religion because quite frankly who would admit that they can't get a human partner so they have to have a robot instead.....?

this is already covered in the quran as ALLAH s.w.t. knows the future,past and present and also the higher and also base lust and depravity of humans too.

thus allah has set limits as to who we can have halal relations wish..in a shariah state..this goes further..separate topic

There's no use in discuss what will or won't be haram in the future. The salaf, whenever they were asked for a fatwa, would first ask the questioner: "Has such a thing already taken place?" If not, then they would not give any verdict.

if your doing dawa to non muslims, then call them to tawheed after they accept that then teach them salat zakat etc. these type of questions are totally irrelevant and should be dismissed immediately as they are of no importance in the life of a muslim.

The question has been answered. If anyone who is a qualified scholar wants to post a fatwa on this issue they can pm me and I'll add it into the thread. Though I'd be surprised if any scholar takes this question seriously or does any more than state that its masturbation and same rules apply i.e. HARAM. So no need for any more discussion on this topic inshaAllah!!!
