i have two mosquito bites. :mad:

takes me aaaaages to catch em. i usually use a towel to chase it but they too fast :( i spend all night tryna squish em before i can sleep.

how do u annihilate ur mosquitos?

That insect is number one killer in the world and you have no idea when your love ones die from them.
In fact, some countries have them wiped out and that is good. The Echo system is fine without them anyway

Yes of course we have them in the uk!! And boy are they annoying! Ever woken up in the middle of the night becoz something was buzzing around your head causing you to hide under the sheet and swelter until you fall asleep again? :o maybe its just me then :S

They used to bite me soo much, REALLY go to town I mean, but during my teens they calmed down, barely biting me thank Allah!

yes it can be itchy. try burning some anti mosquito coils you usually find in pak shops

I remeber one time when i went Pak, i got bit by a mosquito on my foot and it swelled up like a balloon!! It hurt sooo bad, and it lukd ugly!!:o
But its fun watching my grandad getting annoyed by them buzzing around, he takes his chapal off and runs after them to kill them!! Has only succeded a few times though!:rolleyes:
You should put anticiptic cream on ur bites just to be on the safe side!:)

ASSALAM ALAYKUM. I have lost a brother to malaria, had malaria countless times, worried over my babies getting bitten, BUT I still think Allah :Swt:knows best why he created them and I am sure they have their importance. I combat them with nets and insecticide of course but I am just defending myself not denying them right to existence

theres a hadith about not killing mosquitoes in my "manners in islam" series because once they woke up a Prophet (peace be upon him) for salah, so i think you should get this thread closed inshallah sis.

It's only 2 bites :p I've had thousands (though not at once ofcours), most i've had in a day must be about 40.
