Im confused about salafis and sufis etc etc.

Is there anything wrong with salafipublications.com

I want to know what books/websites i can use to learn the principles of islam, worship,hadith etc.

Be patient, observe, don't join a group unless it's the Muslims. Take the good (from Quran and Sunnah) and leave the bad.......lables are meaningless when people don't practice what they're supposed to.

Regarding salafipubs, they slander anyone who doesn't like the Saudi monarchy, anyone who calls for jihad or anyone who says Shariah is the way to go. They follow a government religion and they quote selectively. They might have useful stuff on salah and a few articles here n there....

It's not the label that counts and Allah won't ask you if you were sufi or salafi, he will ask about your deeds, and whether you followed the Quran and Sunnah.

THE need of the moment in the ummah is unity

as the whole world is united in slaughtering muslims we would be stupid to be disunited in minor fiqh issues

if some "sect" or way of thinking is different to ours..we can always think that when we go for hajj we will all be doing tawaaf in the same direction..and starting and ending hajj together..if not the eid namaaz

of course some differences can be annoying and worse when others denigrate your beliefs..we should also refrainfrom "nit picking"..causing disunity..

unite on common terms and be patient and understanding on differences..which shaitaan will magnify
