I download recitations from the internet to aid me to learn surahs, so i can pronounce correctly.
However, all of the recitors seem to pronounce things differently, not majorly different but some minor differences.
For example, with double fatha or kasra or damma things, like an 'an' or 'in' 'un' at the end of a word. Some recitors will pronounce that, some won't.
Now im no expert at reading arabic, my skills are very basic. And im not fluent in reading arabic. I rely heavily upon the sign things, like shaddah etc. I have little knowledge of how to recite the quran. The fact that these recitors pronounce differently confuses me even more.
Is your salah valid if you pronounce something wrong? I fear changing the whole meaning of the word!
I have some other questions relating to reading arabic and the quran:
When a word has a ta marboota at the end http://www.les-ziboux.rasama.org/images-touches/ta-marbuta.png how do you know whether to pronounce it or not. Like some words you will say 't' at the end, others it will just be a 'h' sound.
Do you always pronounce the word in the way the tashkeel in the quran is showing you?
When i listen to recitors and then look in the quran, not every tashkeel is pronounced. Like you should be saying 'i' if theres a kasra or 'a' if its a fatha or 'un' if its a double damma at the end of words. Do you know what i mean?
I had some other questions but ive forgotton them now..
Does anyone have any websites explaining the rules of reciting quran in a simple way? I know theres lots of complicated rules about how long to stress things and all this other complicated stuff. Im so confused ! Are all the complicated rules like what bits to stress, raise, lower your voice etc just for proffestionals etc?
I hope ive explained things clearly
