Vimicro Web Cam

I got a Vimicro Web cam last year and I installed the CD that came with it and all was well.

I recently moved my computer and I have misplaced my CD :( . .

I needed to install the driver again. I searched the net and found the correct driver - downloaded and installed it.

I connected the Web cam (the light is on) but I keep getting the Sorry you have no video capture hardware! :(


Anyone know how I can fix this?

I have the driver and I've downloaded it - only when I click it to work it says I have no video capture! And the webcam is on . .

How was the installation? Everything seem normal ? Did you see the little status bar and stuff?

Do not have the hardware plugged in when your installing the driver...

Yep, everything looks normal.

I re-downloaded without the hardware plugged in - still not working. :(

Well you may need to get a new webcam. They are pretty cheap nowadays...

I am sorry I wasn't of much use!...
