Asalam alaimkum
I know I really want to move back to my home country.:D:D
Although its not safe at this point, but thats the last thing I care
about..I am serious :o
So how do you feel about packing your stuff and moving out of the
country you currently reside in and going home? (of course not those who
are already in their own country which I am sure not many of
you are )

My ultimate goal is to move back to Pakistan. I ll be fine, if I am supoosed to be hit by a bullet or a bomb, it can happen anywhere. Fear wont hold me back....................................It may take a few more years due to familia situationa but Inshallah I ll be in Lahore and will frequent the Food Street at least twice a week.Hey its not just about food , honestly.

I'll prefer to stay away from my home country and move back to the place where I came from, Abu Dhabi. But surely, Pakistan is better than the place I am living

This is what i been thinking all day. I so wanna go back. when you talk about this, people say oh pakistan, its so poor right now, there are bombs and bullets. I say ok fair enough but again as a poster said in this thread that would be the least i worry about. 2 million or more people are living in pakistan. Allah is giving them. Allah will give everybody. Inshallah
:wswrwb: as a revert i live in my "home country" but as soon as my sons are mature and settled and standing on their own two feet, then i want to get out of here a.s.a.p and move to any muslim country insha Allah egypt, morocco, saudia, pakistan, kashmir, afghanistan, palestine, oman, u.a.e,turkey, comoros, whatever im really not fussed as long as its full of muslims and masjids and the adhan is called 5 times a day and women are walking round in khimar and abaya and ppl dont look at them like some kind of alien species then happy days
I could pack up and go and be indistinguishable from the natives...
No qualms - but the world is my oyster, I shall be at home wherever I end up living
Come to think of it, I prefer somewhere without too many human characters, more 'nature'. Antarctica would be a good place, failing that a hut in the middle of some forest, don't care where.

I don't think at this time it would be great to go to my home country, but I'd love to live in my birth country.

i don't think i'd like to go back home, its not exactly the ideal 'muslim' country...though they're suppossed to be, but having the kings wife fluanting around in 'western' clothing and no hijab huh please, would you wana live there? i don't think so. but maybe a middle eastern country? inshaAllah.
i've just recently come back from an arab, middle eastern country and subhanaAllah i was dreading coming back to england...its my birth place and all but the more you think about this dunya and the future,if Allah swt grants me a long life and a family, london isn't ideal...alhamdulillah its better than many other western countries but its just not me anymore.
may Allah strengthen our imaan where ever our ummah may be.ameen...
WAllah part of me wants to go tomorrow, but part of me says no-way at least not just yet, so thats why i voted i duno

Assalamo-alaykom. I'm a Indian muslim born in UK. I don't really feel like India is a home purely because it is still a Hindu country which can be dangerous when trouble breaks out. I'd rather call home a country which is an islamic state except pakistan. Sorry, don't mean to upset pakistani bros and sisters but it seems the majority of them are passionate about being patriotic ahead of religion. The celebrations on Green street really wind me up.

Not sure about going back home, but as I recently just came back from Abu Dhabi, I can see myself living out there, Insha'Allah 18 or so months I'll be making hijrah there.

I agree but it’s not like we as Muslims fit any better here (or should fit any better). But ultimately one has a choice to indulge in the negative consequence of living here but what is wrong bakchome (poverty, war, unstable govt, dictatorship, corruptness, etc.) you do not have a choice in.

Well if enough of you went back maybe you could change that? Afterall when all the skilled and educated leave a country only the poor and uneducated are left.
Imagine if tommorow the entire population of educated people left the UK and only the chavs remained. Doesn't even bare thinking about.

Probably because they want to continue have the luxury of seeing violence and tyranny from the comforts of their living room on 6:00 news. Many do talk about leaving though, as there is good money made there just by the virtue of being from the west. Few people are willing to make the sacrifice, esp. for the sake of a better society and world, though. Muslims aren’t that big on it (at least not as much as western non-Muslims are), it seems.
