the in thing now is extension... ;)
:wswrwb: Allahu alam i dont know if its haram or not, but what a lot of hassle perming ur eyelashes, do they have to rinse and nutralise them, like when u perm ur hair :0: i got my eyelashes dyed once and the beautician dabbed the dye right on my eyeball it was burning like mad, and she missed half the eyelashes anyway they were still fair lol and i never did that again.
i dont know sis, just get an eyelash curler it takes 2 seconds per eye no risk of perm solution getting in your eyes ( cos that stuff is heavy duty chemical process) and anyway its going to make ur eyelashes all dry and brittle and they might go thin and start falling out over time :S
Do you mean like them metal curlers which you clip onto your eyelashes and hold for a few secs and when you take it off your eyelashes are a bit curlier? Or do you mean like a hair perm? Or like stick on eyelashes with glue?

^ lol perming is a semi permanant way to curl your eyelashes. the only reason why i want to get it done is my lashes are very long n droopy n poke ma eyes at times!and if you have hayfever eyelashes just add to the irritation of the eyes! and no to Pielle2 i do not want eye lash extensions! lol
i got this from a website on how its done:
'Using a small roller and water soluble glue, the lashes are rolled and separated to help ensure a beautiful natural appearance. Perming lotion is then applied to the lashes and left for 15 minutes followed by the application of a neutraliser. This is then left for a further 15 minutes under cover. Finally, damp cotton wool is used to gently remove the roller, leaving you with enhanced curled eyelashes.'

Well if it is because they are cuaisng you problems and not for beutification purposes i think that should be okay.
Allahu alam, ask someone with knowledge enshallah.

wow .. i didnt know u could perm them
i get an eyelash falling into my eyes sometimes, its very rare, but i normally just rub my eye upwards, problem solved.
try some of these  far less hassle, no damage to your eyelashes, and no chance of getting glue, perm solution or nutraliser in your eyeballs

Wa Alaikum Asalam Wa Rehamatullahi Wa Barakhatahu,
Im not sure about perming eye lashes but i think you can put on surma (find out the rulings on this matter with someone who can provide proof Insha'ALLAH). That looks nice also Alhamdulilah.
Now take care Insha'ALLAH and have a nice day... :)

sr Asiya i have tried eyelash curlers but they dont work especially on my lashes at the end which are really long and droopy. and i cant even get some of the end lashes to go in the curler. Lol treasured soul i didnt know either, some one told me why dont i get it done. at first lol i thought it involved plucking the eyelashes out..OUCH! and so i was like no way! but then i found out how it is done but i want to know whether its haram or not.
