I use paypal all the time.

Good points:

Alot of websites offer payment by paypal
Dont need to enter any credit card/debit card details
Secure access
Instant debitting of payment from your bank account so for those who dont have credit cards, this is useful

Bad points:

I have no bad experiences from using the service! :)

Paypal has its risks like other methods of payment, however i think it still is relatively safe to use most of the time.
