How to find domain information?

I was trying to get domain information for www.siu.edu.bd. Can anyone please tell me how to find the domain information?

I'm pretty sure they don't steal domain names. Found out about it when I attempted to register a domain with godaddy and they stole it.

I hope that gives enough info.

Well...information like who's the hosting company, validity period etc.

I remember finding those kinda information from the internet but I've forgotten how. I guess the .edu.bd is causing the problem in finding the info.

but it didnt recognized that URL provided above. :(

Well, if there's a domain name you can't find go here:

http://www.iana.org/domains/root/db/

Go to the country code, in this case .bd

On that page you'll find a link to the registrar...after a bit of fishing around on the registrars site, found this page:

http://www.bttb.net.bd/bd_search.php

betterwhois.com is....better.
