i used to do this in a re-occuring dream i had when i was a kid but in a dark green 1960`s ford transit going up a mountainside lol i never made it to the top either

Brings back memories of the Gulf...

Gearhead friends of mine would tune their cars and race Thursdays (equivalent to Western Saturday - weekend) on isolated roads with long stretches and video tape them. Others would invite me to these 4x4 dune climbing challenges. And then there are the very dangerous car semi-drifting stunts pulled off on busy roads. But who can blame those kids; with no public libraries or abundant recreation centers or even cinemas to pass time, they turn to their elder peers and choose to imitate, if not outdo. And the cycle continues...
