It can be from the Bible or Qur'an. Since I started the thread I guess I'll go first.

31 What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? 33Who will bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. 34Who is to condemn? It is Christ Jesus, who died, yes, who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who indeed intercedes for us.w 35Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written,
"For your sake we are being killed all day long;
we are accounted as sheep to be slaughtered."
37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 8:31-37.

Peace.

I love this one as much (or more) as I love the one in my thread header.

The Gift of Love
13 If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast,a but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. 7It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never ends. But as for prophecies, they will come to an end; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will come to an end. 9For we know only in part, and we prophesy only in part; 10but when the complete comes, the partial will come to an end. 11When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways. 12For now we see in a mirror, dimly,b but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known. 13And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love. 1 Cor. 13:1-13.

7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray.

93. Ad-Duha(The Glorious Morning Light)

In the Name of Allâh, the Most
Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

1. By the forenoon (after sun-rise);

2. And by the night when it is still (or darkens);

3. Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you.

4. And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world).

5. And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased.

6. Did He not find you (O Muhammad) an orphan and gave you a refuge?

7. And He found you unaware (of the Qur'ân, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you?

8. And He found you poor, and made you rich (self sufficient)

9. Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression,

10. And repulse not the beggar;

11. And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces).

Living by Faith
16 So we do not lose heart. Even though our outer nature is wasting away, our inner nature is being renewed day by day. 17For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure, 18because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal. 2 Cor. 4:16-18.

O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous?

[Surah Al-Infitar - The Cleaving]

(Surah Maryam: Verse 16-40)

16. And mention in the Book (the Qur'ân, O Muhammad SAW , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east.

17. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.

18. She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allâh) from you, if you do fear Allâh."

19. (The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."

20. She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?"

21. He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allâh): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allâh), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allâh).' "

22. So she conceived him[], and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem).

23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: "Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!"

24. Then [the babe 'Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you;

25. "And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you."

26. "So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allâh) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.'"

27. Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing).

28. "O sister (i.e. the like) of Hârûn (Aaron) [not the brother of Mûsa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman."

29. Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?[]"

30. "He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allâh, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;[]"

31. "And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salât (prayer), and Zakât, as long as I live."

32. "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.

33. "And Salâm (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!"

34. Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).

35. It befits not (the Majesty of) Allâh that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allâh, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allâh]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, "Be!" and it is[].

36. ['Iesa (Jesus) said]: "And verily Allâh is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allâh's Religion of Islâmic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets)." [Tafsir At-Tabarî]

37. Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about 'Iesa (Jesus)], so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allâh] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire)[].

38. How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) today are in plain error.

39. And warn them (O Muhammad SAW) of the Day of grief and regrets, when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not[].

40. Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,

But as for those who desire the life to come, and strive for it as it ought to be striven for, and are true believers- they are the ones whose strivings all find acceptance and reward.'

'The Most Merciful has taught the Qur'an; He has created man, and imparted in him articulate thought and speech. The sun and moon run their appointed courses; and the stars and the tress prostrate themselves; and the skies He has raised high and set the Balance [in all this].
So never transgress in the Balance, and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.'

'Among His signs is that He created you from dust, and then, you became human beings scattered far and wide.
And among His signs is that He creates for you mates from among yourselves, so that you may live in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between you. Surely in this are messages for people who reflect.
And among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colours. Surely in this are messages for those who have knowledge.
And among His signs is your sleep at night or by daytime, and your seeking of livelihood out of His bounty. Surely in this are messages for people who listen.'
(al- Rum 30: 20-3)

'Surely We will try you by means of fear, and hunger, and loss of worldly goods, of lives, of produce; but give glad tidings to those who are patient, and, when an affliction befalls them, they say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we shall return.'
(al- Baqarah 2: 155-6)

'Whoever holds fast to God, he has been guided onto the Straight Path.'
(Al 'Imran 3: 101)

'Say: We believe in God, and in that which has been sent down on us, and that sent down on Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants, and that which was given to Moses and Jesus, and was given to all the prophets, from their Lord; we make no distinction between any of them; and we surrender ourselves to God alone.'

02. O you who believe! Fear Allâh (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared. [Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islâm (as Muslims) with complete submission to Allâh.

103 . And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allâh (i.e. this Qur'ân), and be not divided among yourselves[], and remember Allâh's Favour on you, for you were enemies one to another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His Grace, you became brethren (in Islâmic Faith), and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allâh makes His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.,) clear to you, that you may be guided.

104 . Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islâm), enjoining Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful.

105 . And be not as those who divided and differed among themselves after the clear proofs had come to them. It is they for whom there is an awful torment.

8 . They intend to put out the Light of Allâh (i.e. the religion of Islâm, this Qur'ân, and Prophet Muhammad SAW) with their mouths. But Allâh will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it).

9 . He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad SAW) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâmic Monotheism) to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Messenger Muhammed SAW) hate (it)[].

10 . O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

11 . That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

12 . (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of 'Adn _ Eternity ['Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.

13 . And also (He will give you) another (blessing) which you love, help from Allâh (against your enemies) and a near victory. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad SAW) to the believers.

Surat al Qasas (the narratives)

47. If (you had) not (been sent [to the Quraish]), and then a calamity had seized them for (the deeds) that their hands had set forth, they might say: "Our Lord! Why did You not send us an apostle? We should then have followed the Signs and been amongst those who believe!"
48. But (now) when the Truth has come to them from Ourself, they say, "Why are not (Signs) sent to him like those which were sent to Moses?"
Do they not, then, reject (the Signs) which were formerly sent to Moses?
They say: "Two kinds of sorcery each assisting the other!"
And they say: "For us we reject all (such things)!"
49. Say: "Then bring a Book from Allah which is a better Guide than either of them that I may follow it! (Do) if you are truthful!"
50. But if they hearken not to you, know that they only follow their own lusts: and who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, devoid of guidance from Allah? For Allah guides not people given to wrongdoing.
51. Now have We caused the word to reach them, themselves, in order that they may receive admonition.

52. (And) Those to whom We sent the Book before this (one), they do believe in this (Revelation);
53. And when it is recited to them they say: "We believe in it, for it is the Truth from our Lord: indeed we were already Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will) from before (we heard) this."
54. Twice will they be given their reward because they have persevered (patiently), because they avert Evil with Good, and because they spend (in charity) out of what We have given them.
55. And when they hear vain talk they turn away from it and say: "To us our deeds and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the ignorant."

60. The (material) things that are given to you are but the conveniences of this life, and the glitter thereof. But that which is with Allah is better and more enduring. Will ye not then be wise?
61. Are (these two) alike? One to whom We have made a goodly promise, and who is going to reach its (fulfilment), or one to whom we have given the good things of this life, but who, on the Day of Judgment, is to be among those brought up (for punishment)?
62. That Day Allah will call to them and say: "Where are my ‘partners', whom you imagined (to be such)?"
63. Those against whom the charge will be proved will say, "Our Lord! These are the ones whom we led astray. We led them astray as we were astray ourselves. We free ourselves (from them) in Your presence! It was not us they worshipped."
64. It will be said (to them): "Call upon your ‘partners' (for help)".
And they will call upon them, but they will not hear to them. And (when) they (will) see the Penalty (before them), (how they will wish) ‘If only they had been open to guidance!'
65. That Day (Allah) will call to them and say: "What was the answer you gave to the apostles?"
66. Then the (whole) story, that day, will seem obscure to them (like light to the blind), and they will not be able (even) to question one another.
67. But any that (in this life) had repented believed and worked righteousness will have hopes to be among those who achieve salvation.
68. Your Lord does create and choose as He pleases: No choice do they have (in the matter). Glory to Allah! And far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)!
69. And your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal and all that they reveal.

70. And He is Allah: there is no god but He. To him be praise, at the first and at the last. For Him is the Command, and to Him shall you (all) be brought back.
71. Say: “Do you see? If Allah were to make the Night perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment what god is there other than Allah who can give you enlightenment? Will you not then hearken?”
72. Say: “Do you see? If Allah were to make the Day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah who can give you a Night in which you can rest? Will you not then see?”
73. It is out of His Mercy that He has made for you Night and Day that you may rest therein, and that you may seek of His Grace, and in order that you may be grateful.
74. The Day that He will call on them, He will say, "Where are My ‘partners' whom you imagined (to be such)?"

83. The House of the Hereafter We shall give to those who intend not high-handedness, nor mischief on earth. And the End is (best) for the righteous.
84. If any does good the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds.
85. Verily, He Who ordained the Qur'an for you will bring you back to the Place of Return. Say: "My Lord knows best who it is that brings true guidance, and who is in manifest error."
86. And you had not expected that the Book would be sent to you, but it is a Mercy from your Lord. Therefore lend not you support in any way to those who reject (Allah's Message).

88. And call not besides Allah on another god. There is no god but He.

Everything (that exists) will perish except His own Face. To him belongs the Command and to him will you (all) be brought back.

Asalamu alaikum
Peace to all

I have many favourites, these are only a few of them (the ones I could find anyway). Of course the traslation doesn't do them justice, but the beauty shines through nonetheless.

***************
Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem
In the Name of Allah, the Compasionate, the Merciful

***************
To Allah belong the east and the West: Whithersoever ye turn, there is the presence of Allah. For Allah is all-Pervading, all-Knowing
Surah 2 (Al-Baqarah) Ayah 115

***************
O you who believe! Seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient.
Surah 2 (Al-Baqarah), ayah 153

***************
And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way.
Surah 2 (Al-Baqarah), ayah 186

***************
Those who believe and whose hearts are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah; now surely by Allah's remembrance are the hearts set at rest.
Surah 13 (Al-Ra’d), ayah 26

***************
Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord, sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord, even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid."
Surah 18 (Al-Kahaf), ayah 109

***************
Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, (and) the glass is as it were a brightly shining star, lit from a blessed olive-tree, neither eastern nor western, the oil whereof almost gives light though fire touch it not-- light upon light-- Allah guides to His light whom He pleases, and Allah sets forth parables for men, and Allah is Cognizant of all things.
Surah 24 (Al-Noor), ayah 35

***************
And the servants of the Beneficent are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.
Surah 25 (Al-Furqan), ayah 63

***************
And when Luqman said to his son while he admonished him: O my son! Do not associate aught with Allah; most surely polytheism is a grievous iniquity--
And We have enjoined man in respect of his parents-- his mother bears him with faintings upon faintings and his weaning takes two years-- saying: Be grateful to Me and to both your parents; to Me is the eventual coming.
And if they contend with you that you should associate with Me what you have no knowledge of, do not obey them, and keep company with them in this world kindly, and follow the way of him who turns to Me, then to Me is your return, then will I inform you of what you did--
O my son! Surely if it is the very weight of the grain of a mustard-seed, even though it is in (the heart of) rock, or (high above) in the heaven or (deep down) in the earth, Allah will bring it (to light); surely Allah is Knower of subtleties, Aware;
O my son! Keep up prayer and enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and bear patiently that which befalls you; surely these acts require courage;
And do not turn your face away from people in contempt, nor go about in the land exulting overmuch; surely Allah does not love any self-conceited boaster;
And pursue the right course in your going about and lower your voice; surely the most hateful of voices is braying of the asses.
Surah 31 (Luqman), ayahs 13-19

***************
And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein.
Surah 50 (Qaaf), ayah 16

***************
Whatever is in the heavens and the earth declares the glory of Allah, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death; and He has power over all things.
He is the First and the Last, and the Outward and the Inward; and He is Knower of all things.
Surah 57 (Al-Hadeed), ayahs 1-3

***************
Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would certainly have seen it falling down, splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah, and We set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.
Surah 59 (Al-Hashr), ayah 21

***************
….And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him, And give him sustenance from whence he thinks not; and whoever trusts in Allah, He is sufficient for him; surely Allah attains His purpose; Allah indeed has appointed a measure for everything.
surah 65(Al-Talaq), ayahs 2-3

***************
But ah! thou soul at peace!
Return unto thy Lord, content in His good pleasure!
So enter among My servants,
And enter into My garden.
Surah 89 (Al-Fajr), ayahs 27-30

***************
Certainly We have created man to be in distress.
Does he think that no one has power over him?
He shall say: I have wasted much wealth.
Does he think that no one sees him?
Have We not given him two eyes,
And a tongue and two lips,
And pointed out to him the two conspicuous ways?
But he would not attempt the uphill road,
And what will make you comprehend what the uphill road is?
(It is) the setting free of a slave,
Or the giving of food in a day of hunger
To an orphan, having relationship,
Or to the poor man lying in the dust.
Then he is of those who believe and charge one another to show patience, and charge one another to show compassion.
Surah 90 (Al-Balad), ayahs 4-17

***************
And the soul and Him Who made it perfect,
Then He inspired it to understand what is right and wrong for it;
He will indeed be successful who purifies it,
And he will indeed fail who corrupts it.
Surah 91 (Al-Shams), ayahs 7-10

And this one, too!

"He is Allaah, than Whom there is Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen (open). He is the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful."

"He is Allaah than Whom there is Laa ilaaha illaa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allaah! (High is He) above all that they associate with Him)."

"He is Allaah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." (Qur'aan, 59:22-24)

35.
Allâh is the Light of the heavens and the earth.. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! . Allâh guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allâh sets forth parables for mankind, and Allâh is All-Knower of everything.

36. In houses, which Allâh has ordered to be raised, in them His Name is glorified in the mornings and in the afternoons or the evenings,

37. Men whom neither trade nor sale diverts them from the Remembrance of Allâh, nor from performing As_Salât, nor from giving the Zakât. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned.

38. That Allâh may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace. And Allâh provides without measure to whom He wills.

39. As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one thinks it to be water, until he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing, but he finds Allâh with him, Who will pay him his due (Hell). And Allâh is Swift in taking account.

40. Or [the state of a disbeliever] is like the darkness in a vast deep sea, overwhelmed with a great wave topped by a great wave, topped by dark clouds, darkness, one above another, if a man stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it! And he for whom Allâh has not appointed light, for him there is no light.

41. See you not that Allâh, He it is Whom glorify whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings out-spread . Of each one He (Allâh) knows indeed his Salât and his glorification, and Allâh is All-Aware of what they do.

42. And to Allâh belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth, and to Allâh is the return.

43. See you not that Allâh drives the clouds gently, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap of layers, and you see the rain comes forth from between them. And He sends down from the sky hail (like) mountains, and strike therewith whom He will, and averts it from whom He wills. The vivid flash of its lightning nearly blinds the sight.

44. Allâh causes the night and the day to succeed each other. Truly, in these things is indeed a lesson for those who have insight.

45. Allâh has created every moving (living) creature from water. Of them there are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four. Allâh creates what He wills. Verily! Allâh is Able to do all things.

'Oh mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

one of my favorite ayats are: ayatul kursi
************************************************** **

2:255 Allah. There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).

the whole Qur'an but also Surah Al-Rahman alot

'Which, then, of your Lords bounties do you deny?'

Tafsir (exegesis) of Ibn Kathir on this verse: Al-Rahman (The Merciful) revealed and taught the Qur'an. Allah SWT informs us of His favours and His Mercy for his servants. The favours that are obvious to you while you are surrounded by them, you cannot deny or reject them.
