Jazak'Allah khair for your response at least bro... I think people (sensibly) realised that it would probably best not to continue the debate as it was getting a bit tedious.. although I didn't even take part, actually, just thought it would be food for thought to look at it from the other angle but seems like it's much more acceptable to criticise Muslim women than men? anyway, no real argument really- there's no competition at all between Musa (as) and the men of today!!

It should be 'All the Prophets and Companions' verse the men of today.

They cannot be compared. Men of today....are nothing...compared to the men of those days. Harsh but true :outta:

Definitely.. but the Musa (AS) analogy was because it was in response to SP's thread about the two girls and how they reacted to Musa (as) in comparison to girls of today and how they behave.
so my point really was that that's a pointless comparison because obviously the girls of today are dealing with men who are completely and utterly different.
