Hello :):inlove::D

Was lookin to buy a new printer, just wanted some advice on which one to go for.. i've already mashed up 2 Epsons and i dont want the same to happen with the third, im thinkin i'll go for another make this time, HP or somethin.. Which one do you use?

Also is it better to go for a coloured printer or black only? i think coloured sucks coz if one cartridge runs out you can no longer print, well thats how my Epsons worked.. My budget is around £50, dont wanna spend too much, dont mind if there aint a scanner aslong as you can print and photocopy

Appreciate the helps

uhh i have HP 3 in 1. its been good so far... ive had it for over 2 years i think. it does photocopying and the works, its not big either. umm get coloured and black because sometimes u'll end up needing it, just use it wisely :up:
i dont even know if its possible to find only black these days :p i think most of them on the market have a place for colour cartridge too.

if ur looking so save money wen u purchase ink, take the cartridge to an ink refill store, they can do refills on most cartridges and charge 1/3 of the price of a brand new cartridge :D also, its great so you don't have to dispose of the cartridge either , u just reuse :up:

Problem is coloured ones tend to get used up even if you mostly only do black printouts, thanks Gucci i dont know of any places which do refills, i just buy duplicates :D

get epson or canon, what matters most is printer refils, and they are the cheapest :)

Life is lifeless without a printer :( and lifeless wifout ink 2 :( u must get 1, chatzaloti barely need a printer. i am actually trying to have a paperless office and only converse orally or by electronic and handwritten post. if i want to keep something i save it on my hd or a cd. and if in spite of everything i really need to print out something then i go to a copy shop and print it there. much cheaper than spending all the money for a printer and especially the ink/toner.

a private person really doesnt need a printer nowadays. only bizniz ppl.

You dont have to switch the pc on to go back to the info saved on your hd/cd if you've printed out, thats why i like but okay :)

You ok to buy online Sis?

Try www.pcwb.com

Its PC World Business and it aimed as business' and companies but anyone can buy from there. The PC im using now is from there. Its basically PC World but a much larger selection of products and good offers too. Also try the PC World website cause they often have offers that arent always in the shops :up:

Sis the epson ones are nice but some of them are so loud, we recently got one and it sounds like a jumbo jet on the runway ( :p )

If noise doesn't affect you then it should be ok, but if your printer is gonna be in use quite a bit then get a more quieter printer.

i think most of their printers are like that?

the noise gets to me, i had to walk out the room last time- there is a quieter epson printer which prints really really quietly :masha: i can't remember the name- but it sure doesn't sound like a mini-washing machine :p
