A young man was getting ready to graduate college. For may years he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing that his father could well afford it, he told him that that was all he wanted. as graduation day aproached, the young man wanted signs that his father had bought him the car. Finally on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his office. He told him how proud he was of having such an amazing son and that he really loved him. He then handed his son a beautifully wrapped box.

Curious, but somewhat dissapointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely leather bound quran. Angrily, he raised his voice and said "with all your money all you can give me is a guran?" he stomed our of the house, leaving the quran behind.

Many years passed by and the young man was very successful. he had a beautiful home, with a beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters. But he was wary of the fact that his father was getting old and that he should go meet him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements though, he recieved a call saying his father had passed away and willed all of his posessions to his son. he needed to go home immediatly to take care of things. when he arrived home at his fathers house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. he began searching for his fathers important papers and there on the desk saw that beautiful still new quran, just the way he had left it all those years ago. with tears in his eyes, he opened the quran and turned the pages. as he read the quran, a car key dropped out from an envelope taped behind the quran. it had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had always desired. On the tag was the date of the graduation and the words PAID IN FULL.

How many times do we miss the blessings of allah becaue they are not packaged as we expected?...
