My youngest brother use to do that to me, but he stopped once I did that to him. While beside him I'd start dancing till he told me to go away and he'd stop bothering me. He's better now, but he does look sometimes. Just tell him to look away and he will.

I don't think my older brother ever did that to me. Though I did use to do it to him....

I guess i can tell you that from experience im the oldest in my family, n den deres my sis n 2 bros! my 2nd to youngest bro whos 13th is a total nightmare, we dnt get along at all!! I say 1 thing n he does another, i guess cos im more like the 'mother' figure cos im the oldest so i kinda cum across as strict!! Bt i dnt mean 2 be:o i guess that jus the way i come across! But i try my best to get along with him, like get him things sweets etc but still theres always conflict!! :(o well!

But my youngest bro is my jaan:love: hes 8 but hes still my baby

I second this statement.

Imagine my scenario: I am 25, 6' 210lbs, lift regularly and am the older brother by 6 years. I should be able to hold my own against "little brother", right? Wrong, so very wrong. He is 6'7" 300 lbs and stronger than an ox. I have to sneak up, fight dirty, and hope for a good break when we get into it.

sis its actually lovely to hear this,he sounds like a lovely boy masha Allah may Allah protect u both amin. he is ur mahram, he will be your protector one day, u should encourage him and talk with him, even though he is your younger brother, he still has the duty of an elder brother towards u.

to give u a little example. i teach a muslim brother and sister and when he was 3 and his sister age 7 , he said to me both quite out of the blue during class, "when i am a big boy i am going to bangladesh to find my sister a nice husband and you can come too, and i will get you a husband and look after you " subhanAllah he was only 3 and this is his fitrah to want to protect his sister at such a very young age subhanAllah!

my sons are like this since i became muslim, lol and im in my 30`s its like theyre my dad or something :D they ask me what am i doing where am i going, if im out when they come home, they phone me where are you, are you alright ? they dont like me to walk alone, or go out for shopping alone without them to help, they sit with me at the computer sometimes see what im doing what im reading we chat and discuss what we see and read (cept when im in sis section of course ;)

honestly sis i know it might seem annoying but i would be greatful that u have such a wonderful brother ukhti, he must look up to u so much, many young boys the last thing they want to do is be with their big sisters, he must love u very much anyway from what u said about him i think hes just lovely masha Allah :inlove: may Allah ta ala bless him and give u sabr with him amin!

My little brother is turning 15 in about 2 weeks and he's not nosy...just plain annoying.

I've forgot how much of brat he can be but to be honest at times I feel sorry for him. He is the only boy left at home now that my elder brother got married and my other sisters aren't exactly nice (to him or anyone else for that matter).
He was rather glad when I came home for Easter holidays but that doesn't stop him from being a brat.
I love him, but he's not becoming a 'big brother' at all...he's seems to have regressed to being an annoying child and I can't wait until he grows up.

Sis, it's natural. Trust me, growing up as a younger brother, Going to high school and in public seeing how guys treat women and how they gaze, really irritates us, at least me, that it could be my OWN sister who could be the victim..thats why its always, "Where were you!" "what were you doing?" "with whom did you go with?"....he's growing up...:)

Your brother has it pretty easy. I have 4 daughters and 2 sons. My oldest son is the third oldest(by 20 minutes as his "big" twin sister likes to remind him) Poor kid never stood a chance because the 4 girls would gang up on him and his brother was no help being the youngest.
On the upside, my boys have definately gotten an education on how to deal with women :D My oldest son likens it to dealing with psych patients :rotfl:

yeah my 9 year old brother isnt close to me because i dont play hockey with him like my 17 yr old brother does... so he complains about that. but yesterday.... he was playing by himself with a tennis ball in the living room and i was sitting on the couch. the ball flew and hit my cheekbone so i grabbed the hockey stick and beat him up with it.

yeah... a 20 year old beat up a 9 year old.

he cried for an hour. i felt bad so i gave him a hug and then kicked him out so i could watch american idol.

I have 2 brother an older one and a younger one - my oldest is a great sport when it comes to privacy, he always knocks and asks permissin b4 cuming in2 my room and he would never pry into my affairs without my consent unless he felt he had 2, my youngest is the same but without the whole knocking b4 barging in, and he tends to ask me what im up 2 but not like 24-7 hes 16 so he can be abit annoying, but overall we all respect each others need for privacy, its a phase ur bro will grow out of it, my youngest when he was younger used 2 do that at times, but hes growing out of it now he has 101 of his own things 2 do aswell! we're all reaaaaaaaaaaaly close 2 each other and always have a ball in each others company, i dont think we've ever argued with each other for years now! I used fight with my youngest brother when we were kids, never with my oldest brother or sis, but me and him grew out of it .............just like that *snaps fingers* the minute we reached our teenage years now we all get along like a house on fire :inlove:

Anyway when we were little we used to play till we fell asleep between/on top of all the toys. Oh and we would sit in the middle of all the toys and build a huge wall around us with lego's and all toys that were available. It was his job to give me the "bricks":D

I have four brothers and no sisters..2 are older than me
and 2 are younger.

I beat the younger ones up time to time, and the older ones can't
touch me since I am the only sis, to which I refer the only 'princess' :D
My older brother is great! :D
but the second oldest one is soo darn protective :torture:
which i don't need,at least not his type of protection.

my bro went to visit his high school last week..tabrakallah hes getn older :coolbro:

i just wanted to know the kind of things we should be preparing him for when he goes. alhtough the term doesnt start until september but still...cos theres a lot going on at secondary schools atm and its really easy to get misled by others...

i worry about him cos he has been blessed as a very handsome young man i i dont want him to get the wrong attention. although he is gunna be in yr 7 i wouldnt put him past him to know he is a smoocher...:coolbro:

kids nowadays eh?!

so far weve had no problems with him alhamdullilah but i still wanted advice pls...

:D
