this is what freaks me out when members just randomly stop posting :rubeyes: :S....and for a long while as well...


if you died tomorrow or in one week or next month, would ummah.com know ?

i understand and agree with the sentiment.

i dont think i know anyone in real life that also usues ummah, or infact, any of the online forums that i use.

i guess i am glad that social networking exists, as these are good at incorporating real life and online life

None that i know personally uses ummah but if im absent, i like to inform just in case they wonder. I always do that. When i go on a holiday, i inform my closest friends but i have my wife. She knows i use ummah so...
You never know when you die, it could be any minute. May Allah wash all of our sins and make it easy for us.

Does it matter if someone finds out about one of us, when so many Muslims Die every year and hardly anyone finds out about them, in places like Palestine, Gaza, Afghanistan, Iraq etc?

whether we find out about a Muslim brother or Sister, we have an Obligation to pray for the Forgiveness of all the Muslims, may Allah Ta'ala help us all succeed in the Dunya and the AKhira

Maybe, just maybe. If I died, my friends would know obviously, and then one of my friends who lives close by to me will tell another friend of mine, but he lives far away. But that brother is friends with a brother(we are also friends but just meet on events) that is friends with Perfectpearl's brother. So when her brother finds out, maybe he'll tell perfectpearl and maybe she'll let you guys know. Was that confusing?

As far as Ummah.com is concerned...if I stopped posting due to death, if anyone even realized I wasn't posting, they would assume I just left the forum. The same holds true for any forum I am active on. I don't know anyone on those sites personally.
