Why do i see more pink names than red? If you get what i mean regarding brothers and sisters section.

I think I answered that but mind my weirdo sentance structure and lingo.

Brothers who are part of the brother's section can manually change their name, it's not automatic, you must do it through User CP, either many brothers would not like to be addressed as from the brothers section, they don't like the colour or that they merely cannot be bothered. :D But it's nothing personal that's for sure.

In simple English:

It's down to you to change it if you wish. It seems the majority of sisters have done so already.

I wanted mine red, loq looks cooler than pink.

But...I think its coz the default colour is blue and sisters would rather be pink so as not to be confused with the bro's....whereas the bro's dont mind blue anyway.....Ergo.....what you see is what you see, loq meaning personal preference I think.

In that case purple is my fav colour. But above when i said yeah my colour is red; it more meant gaining access to brothers section rather than the preference of colour.

there's a whole process im afraid.. u need minimum 1000 posts for ur application to be considered. although if u know a sister on this forum on a personal level who can vouch for ur ladyness, that will speed up the process. so anyway, once u apply, the mods will get the ball rolling insha'allah and tell u what steps u will need to take. i think there's a thread on it somewhere.

u'd have to change ur gender then if u wna go red.

if u have access to sis section, ur username doesnt automatically change to pink, u can still keep it at blue but there's also muslim section too, which if u have access to, u can change username to black!

Brothers have a choice of red or black (or staying blue), most brothers prefer black over red. Sisters can pick pink or black (or blue) and most sisters prefer pink. Question answered?

this is not the application process, its what you need before we'll consider an application. Once a sister has this inshaAllah, there are other steps in the application process which we will explain inshaAllah at the time, but won't mention here where the brothers can see it. We have had secuirty breaches in the past - including finding that two people in there were not who they said they were and were posting fake pictures and had lied about many other things. We don't actually know if they were men or not - they could have been anyone.
