It is there, I've just found it too - only to prove the point. Will delete it :)

Go to User CP, there's a setting somewhere that allows people to send you emails - disable it. (This setting is different to the one that allows you to receive PM's.

Yea, found it in the profile section - then 'Contact Info'

To disable - at least this is how I think it's done...

User CP
Under 'Settings and Options' Choose 'Edit Options'

Scroll Down and Uncheck "Receive Email from Other Members"
