View Full Version : Do you..
Often, or sometimes visualise world peace on this Earth? Where this is no war, no racism or anarchy? Where famine, poverty, and disease all wiped out in one go? Do you believe in a better humanity is a possibility?

yeah but if there was to be any thing of these things in todays society then the whole world would need to accept each other or wipe out evety other race and religion
Then it wouldnt really be world peace but world domination

There need to that bad for the good to be appreciated and done. The thing we are suppose to do is to work toward it i.e. a better world as much as we can. But it will never be perfect. This world isn’t Jannah. :D

yes, but that'll be towards the end of time, when the Dajjal if killed and when there will be no more wars, no more poverty.
There's hadith which eve say children will be holding snakes in their hands and they won't get harmed by them.

It will only be for awhile. After he passes away and a few other khalifahs after him, it will go bad again (just like in the prophet Muhammad (saw) time, kinda).

Hadhrat Ali (R.A.) narrates that Rasulullah :saws2: Peace and Blessings of Allah :Swt: be upon him and his family said, "Even if only a day remains for Qiyamah to come, yet Allah :Swt: will surely send a man from my family who will fill this world with such justice and fairness, just as it initally was filled with oppression." (Abu Dawood)

At the end of time or near enough you will a lot of corruption and evilness when the time comes Allah :Swt: will send Imam Mahdi (AS) first then Prophet Esa (AS) who will kill the Dajjal
There are loads of information about this:

I don't think so. There will always be evil. Shaytan won't just shut up an take a vacation. Even when Islam returns to the world and the Khalifa returns, Evil will still exist. AllaH (swt) has made everything in pairs and in comparison. Good vs Evil, Guidance vs Misguidance, Male vs Female. We can just try to attain personal peace and try to make the world a better place, but to attain perfect peace? Thats what Jannah's for :D

Worst case scenario is that nothing changes for the better until Imaam Mahdi comes along. But it will happen eventually...

Here’s something: The Millennium Development Goals are eight goals that 189 United Nations member states have agreed to try to achieve by the year 2015. The eight goals include: 1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger. 2. Achieve universal primary education, 3. Promote gender equality and empower women, 4. Reduce child mortality, 5. Improve maternal health , 6. Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases, 7. Ensure environmental sustainability and 8. Develop a global partnership for development.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_Development_Goals

yes i do believe it will happen inshallah...allah will not change the condition of this world unless we humans change what is in ourselves...i think its a test to bring us closer to Allah and inshallah all evils of the world will be eradicated...
i was watching the jon snow documentary on ithe invasion on iraq on channel 4 last night...and what stayed in my mind is the image of the young 10 year old boy whose father had been kidnapped....you could just see it in his eyes, the whole world torn apart infront of him but he still smiled and he was still resilient.. what kept him strong was his belief and faith and with evey word he spoke ...inshallah...
so who are we to not remain hopeful? ... 'inshallah' there will be peace and inshallah justice for all.

Yes, but only after there has been a significant shift in the balance of power within the world.

As Muslims, are we not suppose to believe that a time will come when there will be peace? When the Dajaal is defeated and Prophet Isa will rule? In every hadith I've read it says there will be peace, to the point where no one will want to harm another.

I don't foresee Peace until Paradise...insha'Allah.
Whether it comes to pass or not, 'always remain the willing prisoners of hope' :) (D 2:2).
